Yoga for Yogi

Editorial Policy

Yoga for Yogi exists to make yoga easier to understand and easier to choose. That means our editorial work has to be useful before it is monetisable.

How we choose topics

We prioritise questions that help readers practise, compare or make a decision: what a style feels like, how a sequence is paced, what a teacher-training fee includes, or what to check before booking a retreat. We avoid publishing pages simply because a keyword exists.

How we write practice content

Pose and sequence content is written as general educational guidance. We favour clear setup cues, realistic modifications and permission to use props or reduce range. We do not diagnose injuries or claim that a pose can treat a medical condition. When expert review is used, the reviewer and relevant credentials should be identified on the page.

How directory information is checked

Teacher-training and retreat listings are checked against provider or venue information and display a last-verified date where available. Prices, dates, faculty and availability can change quickly, so readers should confirm current terms directly before paying or arranging travel.

Reviews, rankings and paid placements

A payment does not turn a listing into an editorial favourite. Sponsored or featured placements are labelled. Affiliate links may earn us a commission without changing the price you pay, but commission availability is not our basis for including or excluding an option.

Corrections

If a factual detail is wrong or has changed, please contact us with the page URL and the corrected information. We prefer to update a useful page transparently rather than leave an outdated claim in place.
