Freedom Yoga’s 200-hour teacher training is run from its Martin Road studio in Singapore and offers both weekend and weekday formats. The next published 2026 weekend intake runs from 3 October to 13 December.
What stands out
The program focuses heavily on learning to teach: alignment, class structure, teaching technique, personal development and the experience of leading a full class. Freedom Yoga describes the training as Yoga Alliance accredited.
Before you book
For Singapore students, the key comparison is schedule rather than accommodation. Look closely at the attendance policy, make-up arrangements, early-bird cut-off and how much studio practice is included outside formal training hours.
Who this training may suit
Freedom Yoga is a practical local option for Singapore-based students who want to train without taking several weeks away for a residential course. A weekend format can fit around work more easily, although it also means balancing assignments, practice and recovery with normal life.
What to compare before enrolling
The directory currently lists the format as In-person and the location as Singapore. Before paying, compare the actual contact hours, how practice teaching is assessed, how much individual feedback is included, the attendance and make-up requirements, how long you retain access to materials, and what happens if you cannot complete the course on the original timetable.
If Yoga Alliance registration matters to you, check the provider’s current school status and the registration pathway directly with Yoga Alliance as well as the school. Completing a 200-hour course and holding an RYT credential are related but not identical steps.
Our directory check
We checked the core listing details against the provider’s own website on 21 September 2026. Teacher-training prices, promotional offers, faculty, dates and enrolment terms can change. Use this page to shortlist programs, then confirm the current syllabus, total payable cost and cancellation terms with the school before enrolling.
